PROBANDO was created for the purpose of opening our space up to new processes of artistic exploration as well as bring the public (collectors, students, artist curators, critics, people involved in the art community, and aficionados) closer to the process of production and the dialogues that lead to the creation of a work of art.

Based on this,  we propose a focus on two basic points of artistic production for this project:

1) The process of conslidating a work of art from the artist's studio to the space of exhibition. That is, that the project imbues the process of curatorship and exhibition creation with the same importance as the final outcome of the exhibition.

2) The role played by the artists' dialogue with certain interlocutors. A very important aspect of the process described above is the fact that final decisions made for a work are usually not come to individually, rather, artists and their promoters engage in a two-way dialogu that includes, first: colleagues, curators, and theoretical concepts developed by other artists, critics, and researchers (both deceased and living). Secondly: collectors and the public-at-large. We intend to cover the concept of a "dialogue" in its widest iteration.
