Nuestro stand reunió trabajos de cuatro artistas -tres mexicanos y un italiano- cuya obra gira en torno a las múltiples aristas del fenómeno de entropía: la irreversibilidad, lo residual, la destrucción y la dispersión y desperdicio de energía . Estos conceptos han sido fundamentales en el trabajo de muchas figuras clave en el arte contemporáneo. La obra de estos artistas refleja la manera en que este concepto ha sido re - contextualizado para abordar una variedad de temas contemporáneos.
Our booth brought together works by four artists (three Mexicans and one Italian) that revolve around the multiple facets of entropy: the irreversibility of time, waste, destruction, and the dispersion of energy. These concepts have been central in the work of many key figures in contemporary art. The pieces selected to be presented at our booth in Artissima 2014 reflects about how the concept has being re-contextualized for a variety of contemporary issues.
